Gary Lineker gives instant reaction to VAR decision during Wolves v Sheffield United

Wolves once again saw VAR make an error which went against them with Sheffield United benefitting from a late penalty call.

It's happened again. Somehow Wolves have once again seen a massive VAR error rob them of points. Despite Gary O'Neil's warning which he sent yesterday after Anthony Taylor was demoted for his mistake last week.

In practically the exact same circumstances, Rob Jones gave Sheffield United a 100th-minute penalty. Similar to last week, Fabio Silva went to play the ball, only for the opposition player to take a tumble.

A disgraceful decision which will go down next to the other bad decisions Wolves have endured this season. As expected, the decision has sparked discussions and outrage.

"Another stinking decision goes against @Wolves." He wrote, before continuing "Exactly the same as last week v Newcastle. Another error from VAR."

The decision wasn't as bad as the Hee-Chan Hwang one last week, but absolutely shouldn't have been a penalty.

O'Neil must be giving up on the officials given how consistently terrible the decisions are which go against the Old Gold side.

When will it end? Wolves must be at their wits end with VAR and the Premier League referees now.

How many times can one club see decisions like this impact them in one season before something drastic needs to be done?

It is very frustrating and unfortunately, we probably won't see anything done other than Jones being demoted next week. Only to be replaced by someone just as bad.

How does VAR look at that and decide to give a penalty? Absolutely scandalous for the officials. PGMOL has serious explaining to do.
