Danny Rohl says everyone in the Wednesday camp is firmly focused on making the final step to Championship safety on Saturday.

A point at the Stadium of Light will guarantee survival as the Owls face Sunderland on the final day.

Wednesday's form in the run-in has been strong and as such, destiny is in the hands of Danny and his team.

But the Owls boss says a difficult game awaits and all focus is on our performance on Wearside.

"I want us to play with the same intensity as the last weeks, to be ready for this fight," Rohl said.

"It is a big, big opportunity and we have worked hard to come to such a point."

After an impressive 3-0 victory over West Brom last weekend, the manager is pleased with the days that have followed on the training ground.

He continued: "This game will be tough, we are prepared and I feel my team is ready.

"We have to make the final step now and I am very convinced about my team, I feel the positive things again this week.

"We are very focused for this next game which is great to see. From our side, it has been a normal week of preparation.

"We looked back to the West Brom game and then had good training days, we have looked to the opponent and prepared something.

"The focus is on our performance and I think this is the best way to be ready for this.

"The last two performances have given us a lot of self-confidence.

"With the results we have, it lifts you up more and more. When you work so hard to jump over the line, then sometimes it hurts a little bit when you see again not and again not made it over.

"But the last two weeks we have jumped over the line, great to see and now we must be ready.

"In football you never know, it is the last matchday and we know in the Championship, every team will give everything they can to have a good season finish.

"The players of all the teams want to show up again to say goodbye to the fans and we have to be ready for this."
