Southampton vs Birmingham City: TV channel and how to watch Wayne Rooney's third match
Source: Birminghammail

Wayne Rooney takes his Birmingham City team to Southampton this lunchtime looking for a first win, point and even goal of his fledgling Blues tenure.

He does so on the back of a chastening evening on Wednesday when Blues were beaten 2-0 at home by Hull City and were booed off after a dismal performance. Meanwhile, on the same night, Southampton were relieved to escape Preston with 2-2 draw thanks to an injury time equaliser than extended their unbeaten run to five games.

Blues make the trip to the south coast with Rooney pondering whether to revert to a formation and/or style of football with which his players will be more comfortable after concerns were voiced within Wednesday night's dressing-room inquest.

It will be Blues' first return to the stadium since September 2011 when they were beaten 4-1, on a day when Chris Wood's goal was scant consolation. Here's how you can follow the game.
