Rumours linking Jack Clarke with a move away have been growing over the past week. New details have emerged suggesting a sell-on clause remains in his contract.

After an excellent start to the season, the Black Cats have seen Clarke's stock rise quickly. He has seven goals in just 11 games.

Following his top-class performances, he won the Championship Player of the Month award, further boosting his profile.

The English winger has continued on from last season. He registered nine goals and twelve assists in a positive season.

Tottenham Hotspur signed Clarke following an excellent breakout season under Marcelo Bielsa in the Championship.
