Swansea City Under-18s are on the road for the penultimate time this season as they travel to face Colchester United on Saturday morning (11am).

The young Swans claimed victory over play-off chasing Barnsley at Landore last time out, thanks to a Sammy Henia-Kamau brace.

The U's, meanwhile, have won two out of their last five outings, including a high-scoring affair against AFC Bournemouth, which they won 6-3.

In the reverse fixture in February, Swansea came out on top with a five-goal victory thanks to efforts from from Henia-Kamau (2), Jack Fanning, Thomas Woodward and Yori Griffith.

Pre-match views Coach Jarred Harvey: "The games are starting to come thick and fast this time of year. But a busy schedule is always a good learning experience for the boys, as it's what you expect in senior football, having three games in this week.

"It's a long trip but, again, we'll prepare like any other game with analysis and video. I was really pleased with the performance against Barnsley with the team being young, and the quality of goals was fantastic."

Four first-half goals from Iwan Morgan were not enough to secure three points as Swansea City Under-18s were held to a draw in a 10-goal thriller against Colchester United in the Professional Development League.

The Swans trailed in the early stages to an own goal. But Morgan's quartet of strikes put the visitors 4-3 ahead at the interval, with Colchester adding to their tally via a brace from Uwandu Samson.

The visitors extended their lead early in the second half through a strike from a trialist, but they would end up having to share the spoils at the end of a remarkable encounter at Florence Park.
