Premier League legend shares prediction about Radu Dragusin after Tottenham Hotspur defeat

Premier League legend Robbie Fowler has given his verdict on Tottenham Hotspur defender Radu Dragusin after his struggles against Fulham.

Tottenham Hotspur were beaten comfortably at Fulham on Saturday evening.

Ange Postecoglou's men just never got going and conceded some soft goals to suffer defeat at Craven Cottage.

One of the concerning aspects was the performance of defender Radu Dragusin.

The Romanian came in for the injured Micky van de Ven after an encouraging substitute display against Aston Villa.

Dragusin didn't particularly impress against Fulham though, showing that the difference between Serie A and the Premier League can be a big one.

The centre back only arrived in January and will need time to adjust to life and football in England, so he certainly shouldn't be written off yet.

Robbie Fowler on Radu Dragusin Van de Ven may not return to action straight after the international break, so Dragusin may be needed in the starting lineup for a while yet.

There may be some growing pains to come for Dragusin but pundit Robbie Fowler is backing him to shine.

Fowler has been over in Romania this week and has been quoted by Digisport as saying that Dragusin must have 'something special' in order to be a Premier League player.

Fowler added that Dragusin is a 'very good player' and predicts that we will see the centre back develop and prove himself in the Premier League.

"I am sure that we will see better developments from him, he will prove that he is a very good player," he added.

The former Liverpool hitman has seen it all in the Premier League, both as a player and as a pundit.

Fowler has seen more than enough players struggle at first and then become stars down the line.

Dragusin's first start didn't quite go to plan but having the backing of a legend like Fowler should be a source of encouragement as he heads off on international duty with Romania.
