'At the end...' - Senior Everton figure speaks out as multiple sanctions on the cards

Sean Dyche has broken his silence as Everton face multiple sanctions including a points deduction for the alleged breach of profit and sustainability rules.

The Toffees manager admits that there are a number of stories to this effect out there and believes that the commission should be able to get to the bottom of it.

An independent commission is looking into the alleged breaches and will then decide what the final decision is.

Dyche said, as quoted by the Liverpool Echo, "I think there are loads of stories out there about things nowadays, particularly things of this type. At the end of the day, the commission will decide and when they do, we'll find out.

"To be honest, ever since I've been here there's been pressure, there's pressure on all sorts around Everton Football Club. We've been trying to stay calm with lots of different challenges here and I think we mostly have done."

Tough ride

It's not been smooth sailing for Dyche since he moved to Goodison Park at the start of the year and that's for everyone to see.

He joined in the January window when the club did not sign a single new player and he somehow managed to keep them in the Premier League.

There were then boardroom departures and finally, Farhad Moshiri also is selling his stake in the club but the new potential owners 777 Partners have their own issues.

Dyche has also faced a potential sack and a few bad results could've seen him losing his job.

Right now, nothing is assured at Goodison Park and fans are taking things one day at a time as there is a chance of things changing at any time.

Hopefully, a decision will be reached sooner rather than later as it's gone on for way too long and clarity is needed.
