West Ham United have reportedly decided to allow striker Divin Mubama to depart London Stadium on a free transfer this summer.

The England Under-20 international striker has accumulated just 269 minutes across 12 appearances this season, a disappointment considering he was expecting to make a proper first-team breakthrough this campaign.

West Bromwich Albion, Sunderland and Everton have been tracking Mubama for several transfer windows, with this June's contract expiry always in mind. There's no wonder why as the 19-year-old returned an impressive 58 goals and seven assists in 91 West Ham youth matches.

Football Insider reports the Hammers are ready to let their academy product depart, with no plans for a contract renewal. Just one goal and one assist in 316 minutes of senior action over the last two campaigns haven't been enough to impress.

Even prolonged periods without Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen haven't opened the door for Mubama to start more matches. It's claimed there's a mutual feeling of inevitability regarding an exit, much like for manager David Moyes.

Albion will be on the lookout for a new striker this summer following a second serious Achilles tendon injury for Daryl Dike. Josh Maja hasn't been a reliable option due to his own fitness issues, while Brandon Thomas-Asante has struggled for consistency.

The forward would likely enjoy regular game time at The Hawthorns, dependent of course on whether the Baggies are promoted to the Premier League via the play-offs. Other, more established targets may be considered if Carlos Corberan guides his team to the top flight.
