Kudus may get his first Hammers start

David Moyes' claim that Mohammad Kudus is close to making his first start for the Hammers has had me thinking who on earth he could leave out to make it happen.

Finally I have come to a conclusion and knowing his preference for attacking midfielders to strikers maybe I reckon it maybe that Michail Antonio will find himself dropped.

Mohammed Kudus has given David Moyes food for thought. He may get may get his first Hammers start against Aston Villa.

The manager has said on various occasions that Jarrod Bowen is more than capable of playing centrally and that's the way I see him going when Kudus' time come which may even be at Villa on Sunday afternoon.

It seems impossible that Antonio can play every game this season and although he has recovered from adductor issues it could be that the manager is preparing to give the Ghana international his chance.

He has scored three goals and looked real business so far this season, no more so than when hammering home a great equaliser against Newcastle last time out.

I see no way any of the midfielders can be dropped so maybe this is the way it's going to happen in a team which will look like this: Areola, Coufal, Aguerd, Zouma, Emerson, Alvarez, Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen.
