Top Sullivan source responds to claim that West Ham could make 'unbelievable' January signing
Source:Hammers

Stan Collymore has made a claim that Scott McTominay could join West Ham from Manchester United in the January transfer window.

Scott McTominay has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham for quite some time now, and Stan Collymore reckons that the London Stadium could be his next destination if he does leave Manchester United.

Despite failing to sign McTominay in the summer, West Ham are believed to still be in the hunt for his signature.

However, it could be argued that we need even more engine room reinforcements, if we are to challenge on all fronts over the coming years.

And Collymore thinks the perfect signing is out there waiting for Moyes...

Stan Collymore suggests that Scott McTominay is perfect for West Ham The football pundit tipped the 26-year-old Scotland international to join the Hammers in January, when writing his column for Caught Offside:

However, that suggestion from big Stan has just been dismissed by a reporter with very close links to David Sullivan.

Claret and Hugh claim that McTominay will not be joining the Hammers in the January transfer window, with the club indicating to them that any money available will be used to strengthen the forward line.

I actually think that the Man United star would be the perfect signing for us. He has been described as an 'unbelievable' player by the BBC, and possesses all of the attributes needed to thrive in Moyes's side.

But in all fairness, Moyes definitely should be spending any money available to him on a striker or a full-back.

Stan Collymore thinks Scott McTominay could be West Ham bound in January, but it seems as though that won't be happening this winter. That said, whether we make another move for him next summer remains to be seen.
