Former West Ham United transfer target Jhon Duran seems to be constantly in the limelight just now. As Hammers fans we can't quite work out how the deal was 'so near and yet so far' to bring him to London Stadium and his continuing success in scoring both against us and others ( he has 5 goals in 8 games, mostly off the bench) is frustrating as he's scored just one less than our entire team so far this season.

In a barbed attack at West Ham, Dwight Yorke has had his own say on the young striker, suggesting that instead of the Hammers even thinking about pursuing their chance of signing him, (which, admittedly, has long gone), "a top side like ...Arsenal should 'take a chance' on the Colombian."

Speaking to metro.co.uk, the former Manchester United striker who scored himself 8 goals and 4 assists in 16 appearances against West Ham, set out his reasoning why Duran looks 'the real deal':

'What I look for is people who are hungry, and he's got that. In terms of the big boys, Arsenal haven't got an outstanding No. 9.'
