The West Ham United owners are not completely happy with the impact made by one of our nine summer signings, or lack thereof.
Julen Lopetegui was a very busy man in the summer transfer window bringing nine new players to West Ham.
The huge squad overhaul at the London Stadium was much needed, but the start to the season has been a slow and painful one, as a result of Lopetegui having to integrate so many new players.
There has even been talk of the Spaniard getting the sack if results don't improve quickly, but he has apparently assured the board that he will turn things around.
The proof will be in the pudding for Lopetegui.
As things stand, he's underperforming, that's the bottom line.
And one of his summer signings has failed to impress so far...
West Ham board underwhelmed by Luis Guilherme Luis Guilherme joined the Hammers from Palmeiras in the summer transfer window for a fee believed to be worth PS25 million.
However, he is still yet to play for the senior side in a competitive match.
The teenager did start for the under-21s during our 2-2 draw with Benfica last week, and he scored our opening goal.
However, it is clear to see that he's a long way off being ready to play regular Premier League football.
The Hammers owners are said to be unconvinced by the former Palmeiras starlet.
According to Hammers insider Sean Whetstone, the Brazilian winger is 'taking longer than anticipated to come good'.
He said, "West Ham's summer Brazilian gamble Luis Guilherme is taking longer than anticipated to come good but there is still hope he can make the Premier League grade eventually. Time Steidten forked out EUR23m (PS19.5m), plus EUR7m (PS5.86m) in add-ons, with a 20 per cent sell-on clause to Sao Paulo-based Palmeiras."

The bottom line here is that Guilherme was never signed for the here and now. He's 18, and has just moved to Europe from South America.
Signing him was a calculated gamble from the Hammers, and it remains to be seen whether or not he will be a hit at the London Stadium.
Luis Guilherme needs time to settle at West Ham Moving to the Premier League from the Brazilian league would be a challenge for any player.
So it's worth remembering that Guilherme is just 18.
He is quite clearly an elite young talent, and was recently labelled as 'extraordinary' and 'sensational' by Paulo Buosi - the Palmeiras vice-president.
The Brazilian possesses impressive pace, stunning technical ability and has huge potential.
He might not come good for two or three years, but if we're all patient with him, I believe we could have a big star on our hands.
Whether or not we will see much of Luis Guilherme this season remains to be seen though.
I think the main gripe with the Hammers fans is that had we not signed Guilherme, Jhon Duran could've been attainable.
However, we can't keep looking back in regret about Lopetegui's failure to bring the Colombian to the London Stadium.
Let's just hope that Guilherme comes good for us.
