Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly interested in signing the Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.

The England under-21 international is highly rated around Europe and he could prove to be a solid long-term acquisition for the north London club.

A report from the Independent claims that Spurs want to add more depth to their squad and they have identified the versatile attacker as a potential option.

The 20-year-old can operate as a winger as well as a central attacking midfielder. Tottenham are dealing with a number of injury problems and Iling-Junior would be a superb option to have.

The former Chelsea Academy graduate has the talent to develop into a quality Premier League attacker and the opportunity to move to Tottenham could be an interesting one for him.

He has already made four league appearances for the Italian club this season and he will want to play more regularly if he moves to Tottenham. It will be interesting to see if the north London outfit can provide him with the necessary assurances and convince him to join them.

The report from the Independent claims that Tottenham have a good business relationship with the Italian club and they will look to get the deal done in the coming months.

Iling-Junior has a contract with Juventus until the summer of 2025 and he could be available for a reasonable price in January.

Manor Solomon and Ivan Perisic are both sidelined with injuries and it is evident that Tottenham need more quality in the wide areas. The 20-year-old would be a useful squad player for Tottenham during the second half of the campaign and it remains to be seen whether the youngster can hit the ground running if the transfer goes through.
