Kris Boyd has criticised Celtic for their abject failure in Europe and praised his former side Rangers for getting the job done.
Rangers enjoyed a 2-1 victory in the Europa League against Sparta Prague while Celtic got humiliated 6-0 by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
The Hoops now even face the possibility of being knocked out of Europe altogether.
Boyd told the Scottish Sun on 10 November, "Rodgers' team selection against Atletico also shone a light on Celtic's awful recruitment in the last 18 months."
"Was that a message to the board that Celtic need to strengthen a lot more to end this embarrassing Champions League record?"
"Something definitely has to change, with recruitment or tactics, or Celtic will just continue to be humiliated.
"Rangers fully deserved their win against Sparta Prague.
"With Aris up next, a place in the Europa League knockouts is now within touching distance."

Celtic were the laughing stocks in Europe against a side that themselves have struggled in the Champions League recently.
They put up no fight whatsoever and just fell over each time the Spanish side threatened the goal.
Many will see them as a waste of a Champions League football and it was like watching boys against men at times.
Rangers went on about their business professionally and got the job done and closer to the next round which is what they would've wanted.
Philippe Clement's getting a tune out of his players and everyone's now singing from the same hymn sheet at Ibrox.
Hopefully, the good times continue for Gers and they can take advantage of Celtic's slump.
