Hradecky on Leverkusen's late goals: "50-50 between quality and luck."

The fact that - yet again - Bayer 04 Leverkusen scored a last-minute-goal late in a match that enabled Germany's red company team to remain undefeated through 46 games across all competitions left keeper and captain Lukas Hradecky at a loss for words.

Speaking to the Sky microphones last night after Robert Andrich's 90+6 tally helped the team draw 1-1 with Stuttgart, the 34-year-old seemed out of ways to describe his squad's season.

"Madness," Hradecky told his interviewer, "I have no words for it. It's incredible. Our fans deserve it too, they push us. But we could really do with taking the lead again in a game or scoring earlier."

Bayer head-coach Xabi Alonso too seemed out of ways to classify the never-ending storybook finishes. The Spanish trainer expressed "disbelief" at his post-match presser and labelled the whole phenomenon "hard to explain".

Hradecky took a crack at it, noting that both last night's draw and the late equalizer against Dortmund last week did come off of dead balls.

"We're dangerous off set pieces," Hradecky said, "Anything can happen, but I would say that it's 50-50 between quality and luck."
