Bayern Munich is relatively healthy heading into this weekend's tilt vs. Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
While most people are more concerned with next week's Champions League match vs. Real Madrid, the Bavarians still have to get through what should be a tough games against Die Alder.
As we have known all week, Bayern Munich will be a bit shorthanded, but no new injuries have crept into the mix just yet, per Abendezeitung's Victor Catalina:
Solid squad depth in #FCBayern training today: Only Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sane, Sacha Boey and Bouna Sarr missing. #FCBayern #FCBSGE
Aside of that news, Catalina drew a comparison between Bayern Munich's coaching situation and the weather at Sabener Strasse:
Das Wetter an der Sabener Strasse: So wankend wie die Trainersuche des #FCBayern. Vorhin kam sogar ein kurzer Hagelschauer vorbei. Ab morgen sollen die Temperaturen aber deutlich steigen, 20-25 Grad.
Ob es dann auch in der Trainerfrage auftaut?#FCBSGE pic.twitter.com/94ZjG7OiVZ
- Victor Catalina (@vcatalina96) April 25, 2024 The weather on Sabener Strasse: As unstable as the search for a trainer for #FCBayern . There was even a brief hailstorm earlier. But from tomorrow onwards the temperatures are expected to rise significantly, to 20-25 degrees.
Will the coaching question also be resolved? #FCBSGE
Per Bild, Sane and Gnabry are officially out for Saturday's game against Eintracht Frankfurt (as expected), while Jamal Musiala will be available:
Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry will miss Saturday's game against Frankfurt. Both were not on the training pitch today. Sane's goal is the starting XI against Real Madrid on Tuesday. For Gnabry, at least an appearance off the bench. Meanwhile Jamal Musiala, who missed last week's... pic.twitter.com/VpQ4eYMseJ
- Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) April 25, 2024 Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry will miss Saturday's game against Frankfurt. Both were not on the training pitch today. Sane's goal is the starting XI against Real Madrid on Tuesday. For Gnabry, at least an appearance off the bench. Meanwhile Jamal Musiala, who missed last week's game against Union with knee problems, has trained normally with the team and will be available against Frankfurt.
On a side note, what was Joshua Kimmich doing in this pic? Is he ready to fight the door? Musiala looks disturbed.
Coman stays indoors This is a bit creepy, but if you look closely you can see Kingsley Coman:
