Mido wants his former club Tottenham to sign 25-year-old Egypt international Omar Marmoush.
The North London club are gearing up for an important transfer window where they will look at ways to further bolster their squad. Reinforcing their attack is going to be a priority for Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham. While Spurs have been linked with multiple top-quality forwards, former striker Mido wants them to sign Omar Marmoush.
The 25-year-old Egyptian international made a name for himself at VfL Wolfsburg before joining Eintracht Frankfurt last summer. Since making the move ahead of the ongoing season, he has featured in 37 matches and has contributed towards 22 goals (16 goals & 6 assists).
While Marmoush's contract with the German club runs until the summer of 2027, Mido has urged his former club to push for him at all costs. He feels the 25-year-old could be an ideal fit for Postecoglou's system. He can start up top, feature on both flanks and can also be used as a second striker.
Mido wrote on X: "Years ago I advised Spurs to sign Salah when he was still at Basel they never listened to me, now I'm telling you please go for Marmoush he will be a great signing, will fit in perfectly in Angie's system as a left or right winger, hard worker top professional and can score goals. Please, Levy, sign Marmoush from Frankfurt".

Mido also highlighted the fact that back in the day, he had advised Spurs to push for the signature of Liverpool star Mohamed Salah when was still playing for FC Basel.
