Bryan Zaragoza's tenure at Bayern Munich thus far has not exactly lived up to what his expectations might have been. The club advanced his transfer from Granada in La Liga to the January transfer window after it had initially been agreed by both clubs that he would joining the Rekordmeister during this summer's transfer window. When all is said and done, Bayern will have paid roughly EUR13 million to make that happen after an injury to Kingsley Coman prompted the club to get him on a half season loan before his Bayern contract technically begins on July 1st.
So far, Bryan has only made a total of four appearances across all competitions, all of which have come in the Bundesliga as a substitute. His longest shift came in Bayern's 3-2 loss to VfL Bochum back in February, during which he was given a 20-minute cameo by Thomas Tuchel.
Per information from Bild, the Spaniard winger is growing restless of his lack of opportunities under Tuchel, especially now that Bayer Leverkusen has already wrapped up the Bundesliga title. By now, Bayern has already secured Champions League qualification for next season after their 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, but even before doing so, it would have taken a complete meltdown to have missed out on qualification for Europe's most prestigious club competition for next season.
Bryan is worried that his involvement for the Spanish national team at this summer's Euros is in serious jeopardy. He was particularly displeased with the fact that youngster Lovro Zvonarek was given an appearance by Tuchel in the win over Eintracht Frankfurt instead of him. He had been called to warmup, but was then told to sit back down. This was Lovro Zvonarek's second consecutive league match with an appearance, having also come on in the 5-1 win over Union Berlin.
Hopefully for Bryan's sake he is still able to make the Spain squad for this summer and subsequently have a more integral role at Bayern under Tuchel's replacement. He needs to playing more regularly, especially for a player that was so integral in getting Granada back into La Liga two seasons ago.
