Bayern Munich 2-1 Eintracht Frankfurt: Initial reactions and observations
Source:Bavarianfootballworks

Initial reactions and observations Thomas Muller may have "won" the penalty but he's not going to start against Real Madrid with the performance he just had. His movement and passing were fine, but he failed to convert FOUR clear scoring chances for Bayern Munich which could have changed the game. Of course, he wasn't the only player to miss chances, but he did miss the most. Harry Kane continues to score regardless of what's happening around him. He could have beaten Lewandowski's record this season with better service. The fact that Zaragoza doesn't play even with most of the team's wingers injured shows that Tuchel has no time for him. Poor guy can't catch a break. Konrad Laimer and Matthijs de Ligt will hopefully escape this game unharmed, They will be part of Tuchel's plans vs Real Madrid for sure. Leon Goretzka spent the last 10 minutes of the game playing right-back. He's been showing off his versatility this season. Kickoff: We're underway!

One hour until kickoff: We have lineups! Thomas Tuchel chooses a strong XI with Bayern Munich lining up in a 4-2-3-1 WITHOUT Alphonso Davies. Harry Kane and Choupo-Moting start up top with Thomas Muller and Raphael Guerreiro behind them. Leon Goretzka and Konrad Laimer start in midfield while Alphonso Davies has been benched for Noussair Mazraoui. Overall, it's seems like a lineup that could start in the CL vs Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Jamal Musiala misses out with a tendon issue.
