However, the sailings have not been so smooth for young Noah Darvich. Having arrived in the summer from German side Freiburg II, his adaptation period is taking longer than expected.

Thus far, the 17-year-old has not been too successful in finding his place in Rafa Marquez's Barcelona Athletic. However, things are working much better for him on the international stage.

As highlighted by SPORT, the player is already one of the most prominent stars of the Under-17 FIFA World Cup currently ongoing in Indonesia. In both games that Germany has already competed in, Darvich has had a starring role.

First came the victory against Mexico. The 17-year-old Barcelona midfielder ended up scoring the opener for his country. Now, in the latest fixture against New Zealand, he was awarded the MOTM award for his brilliant performance.

Providing an assist in the 3-1 victory, he also contributed significantly across the entire game itself. Being in a familiar setting definitely seems to be helping the young midfielder, and Barcelona will be hoping it translates to his club form as well.

Still adapting to various things such as footballing ideals and even the Spanish language, it will take time for him to fully get integrated within the Barca culture. However, expectations and faith remain consistent due to the proven talents that he has.
