Manchester United are being credited with an interest in signing Genoa defender Radu Dragusin ahead of the January transfer window.
We would expect to see Manchester United invest in a new defender in 2024.
Raphael Varane's future looks unclear whilst Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof may not be Erik ten Hag's long-term picks.
A right-footed defender seems to be the priority with links to Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo continuing ahead of January.
There is now a new name in the mix though with Radu Dragusin mentioned over in Italy...
Radu Dragusin linked with Manchester United Tutto Juve journalist Mirko Di Natale now reports on social media that 'the eyes of the top clubs' in England are now on Genoa defender Dragusin.
Di Natale claims that Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are particularly interested in signing Dragusin, alongside Serie A side AC Milan.
Di Natale adds that Arsenal, Chelsea and now Manchester United have joined the race too having been impressed with Dragusin this season.
MORE UNITED STORIES
Dragusin has excelled in Serie A this season, turning in solid performances for a Genoa side who sit 13th in Serie A.
United may just be looking at Dragusin as another centre back option ahead of January or next summer, but he is now a name for United fans to keep tabs on in the coming months.
Dragusin only ever played four times for Juventus at first-team level though, heading out on loan to Sampdoria, Salernitana and Genoa.
The 6ft 3in centre back impressed so much for Genoa in Serie B last season that the deal became permanent this past summer.
Now with 11 Romania caps to his name, the 21-year-old is thought to be a huge talent for the future.
The rumours come at an interesting time as former Romania international Florian Raducioiu claimed just weeks ago that Dragusin 'deserves' to sign for Chelsea or United.
United now appear to have Dragusin on the radar, but will seemingly face major competition for his signature.
