Davies hit his lung-busting stride in the ninth minute as he chased - and reached - a long ball forward down the left from team-mate Eric Dier.
His eye-watering sprint into the Stuttgart half means he now joins Heidenheim's Dinkci at the top of this season's most jet-heeled Bundesliga players. The Werder Bremen loanee hit the same speed earlier on in the campaign.
