Ex-Aberdeen midfielder Ylber Ramadani is being "closely monitored" by Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.

The 27-year-old only joined Lecce from the Dons in August after starring in his lone season at Pittodrie, helping Barry Robson's team claim a third place finish in the Premiership.

The Albania international, who has won 25 caps for his country, has made an excellent start in Serie A with Lecce with the club sitting 11th in the Italian top-flight with three wins, three draws and four losses from their first 10 matches.

Ramadani has played in every one of those games and helped Lecce secure a famous 2-1 win against Napoli on just his second competitive appearance at the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero.

And now according to Pianetalecce, the former Aberdeen star is now being courted by 19-time Scudetto winners and three-time European Cup/Champions League winners Internazionale.

They claim that I Nerazzurri's sporting director Piero Ausilio is keeping a close eye on the player who cost Lecce around PS1.1million last summer.

Having inserted a 10 per cent sell-on clause into the deal that took Ramadani to Lecce, Aberdeen could be due a sizeable chunk of money if the midfielder is to move onto another club, having only paid around PS100,000 for the player in the summer of 2022 from MTK Budapest.

The Dons could also bank millions in cash for another former player who has shone in Serie A. Lewis Ferguson has quickly established himself as one of the main men at Bologna, where he has netted nine goals in 43 matches.

The 24-year-old has also registered two assists so far this season and wore the captain's armband in the side's 3-0 win against Empoli earlier this month.

Scotland international Ferguson only left Aberdeen for I Rossoblu in July 2022 for around PS3million but is already believed to be of interest to AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli.
