Rangers predicted XI v Sparta Prague in Europa League clash; two changes
Source: Rangersnews

Rangers boss Philippe Clement claims his side will have to go up a gear if they're to take anything from a talented Sparta Prague side in the Europa League.

The Ibrox side head to the Czech Republic with Europa League Group C neatly poised after two matches, with all four sides sitting on three points.

This promises to be a pivotal matchday in the hunt for the two qualification spots and Rangers know that if they can go to Sparta and get a result it'll go a long way to getting them out of the group.

But standing between Rangers and Philippe Clement is Sparta Prague and Brian Priske - a close friend oft the Ibrox manager's - and their vibrant side.

Current Czech champions and top of the domestic division once again this season, like Rangers Sparta Prague go into this game off the back of a 4-0 league win.

Attentions are focused on who Rangers might look to play in the game with the troublesome left-back slot providing something of an Ibrox headache.

Croatian international Borna Barisic is injured, Ridvan Yilmaz isn't in the club's Europa League squad, and potential deputy Dujon Sterling is also missing, meaning there is no recognised left-back in the squad.

Rangers could call on youngster Adam Devine - who deputised in the position under Michael Beale - or the club may be forced to look elsewhere in the squad.

We're backing the youngster to get the nod in the Czech Republic with the only other change from the 4-0 win over Hibs coming with Sam Lammers being taken out of the side.

We reckon Todd Cantwell might come into the XI to start in place of the Dutchman with a lack of wide options ensuring Scott Wright keeps his place.
