Talks between Rangers and Ross McCausland over a new contract are "ongoing" amid increasingly widespread interest in the young winger, according to Anthony Joseph.
The Sky Sports journalist reported via Twitter on 12 November that the 20-year-old is wanted "across Europe" as well as in England, after McCausland made his first Gers start in the 2-0 win away at Livingston earlier in the day.
The Light Blues have offered him a contract extension to the summer of 2027 but discussions are as yet incomplete with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.

The pressure is on for this one because the Northern Irishman is emerging as an exciting option under Philippe Clement just as the stakes are being raised over his future.
Rangers are taking a significant risk to have allowed him to get well into the final year of his contract before trying to get him to commit longer term.
Unless interest elsewhere in signing him has only exploded in the past few weeks it would have made sense for the Ibrox hierarchy to secure an extension long before now even if they didn't envisage him breaking into the first team like he has lately.
The compensation due if he leaves on a free transfer is almost certainly going to be far less than the club to demand to sell him, with Premier League clubs from south of the border having already been to watch him this term.
Having not seen a minute of action this season until Michael Beale was sacked it seems the former Rangers boss was blind to the potential of the wide man despite having seen Ryan Kent and Fashion Sakala depart in the summer.
The early weeks of the struggling campaign saw the new-look squad playing narrow while lacking creativity and pace, and while Abdallah Sima, Rabbi Matondo, Scott Wright and now Tom Lawrence have all helped to address that to differing degrees McCausland was an untapped option that is now proving his worth, and is high demand as a result.
In other Rangers news, Michael Stewart has slammed "nonsense" in the Gers game amid disbelief at what he had seen.
