Kris Boyd claims that Philippe Clement is putting everybody at Rangers 'on edge' in terms of their place in the team.

Rangers claimed another three points on Sunday afternoon, heading on the road to beat Livingston 2-0.

Cyriel Dessers and James Tavernier both found the net, handing Philippe Clement a fourth straight league win.

It's all going well for Clement and Rangers, with the Belgian still unbeaten since his appointment in October.

Rangers fans are loving Clement's start in Glasgow and it sounds like he has kept everybody in the squad on their toes...

Kris Boyd shares what he is hearing about Rangers boss Philippe Clement

Former Rangers striker Kris Boyd was on punditry duty for Sky Sports as Rangers beat Livingston.

Boyd spoke about Clement before kick-off (12/11, 11:20) and shared what he has heard about the Rangers boss.

Boyd stated that Clement is oozing confidence and clearly knows what he wants and how to get that across in the media.

The former Gers hitman added that he has heard everybody in Rangers training is now 'on edge'.

That is because Clement has put everybody on their toes, making it clear that nobody's position is safe and that they have to perform in training and in games.

Boyd loves that, believing that Clement needs that atmosphere around the place - and thinks winning games only strengthens his case.

"I think he oozes confidence, he knows exactly the points he wants to get across," said Boyd. "From what I've heard, everybody around the training centre is on edge and you've got to have that - you don't know if you're coming or going, and the performances and getting wins under the belt helps," he added.

We also can't ignore the change we have seen from Rangers in Clement's short time in charge.

Clement seems to have the mentality Rangers need and seems to have brought a totally different attitude to his predecessor Michael Beale.

Beale will sadly go down as a manager who talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk at Rangers.

Clement seems more level-headed and is getting more out of this Rangers squad both on the ball and off the ball.

We can only hope that continues as Clement is showing the signs of making this Rangers team successful in the future.
