Villarreal star Alex Baena on Sunday secured for himself a place in the history books of the Yellow Submarine.
As much comes owing to his exploits in the club's La Liga meeting with Rayo Vallecano.
Marcelino's troops are fresh off making it two wins on the spin, courtesy of a comfortable downing of the aforementioned Vallecano.
And that man Baena proved himself the star of the show en route to as much.
Alexander Sorloth (2) and Yerson Mosquera were responsible for the goals at La Ceramica on Sunday, but it was Baena who ran the show from his berth on the left flank.
The 22-year-old laid on all three of Villarreal's strikes, to take his assist tally for the campaign to an impressive 15 across all competitions.
And, in the process, Baena clinched history.
As revealed by statisticians Opta, the Spaniard today became just the third Villarreal player to rack up a trio of assists in a single La Liga game, after Victor, and teammate Dani Parejo:
