Kylian Mbappe's contract situation causes a downward trend in his ETV, dropping to an amount of EUR125m

Jude Bellingham has dethroned Erling Haaland as the most valuable footballer in the world. With an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of EUR138 million, he surpassed Manchester City striker Haaland and is now considered number one on this list.

Bellingham made a move from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid last summer for a whopping fee of 103 million euros. In just under six months, he has become the most valuable player globally with his current ETV standing at 138 million euros.

The England international has had a remarkable start at Santiago Bernabeu, scoring 17 goals and providing five assists across all competitions this season. His performances have been crucial for Carlo Ancelotti's team as they currently sit atop LaLiga and have comfortably progressed into the Champions League round of 16.

Due to these outstanding displays, Bellingham saw his ETV rise by three million euros last month, overtaking Erling Haaland who was sidelined with injury for much of December resulting in a drop from 144.2M Euros to 136.9M Euros.

Meanwhile Kylian Mbappe’s future seems uncertain due to expiring contract which negatively affects its market value down significantly sitting at only €125M making him third place among expensive players after having moved PSG on loan basis before permanently signing up later being transferred AS Monaco costing around €180M .
