Real Madrid are prepared to pay €30m (PS25.9m) for Sevilla's defender Juanlu Sanchez

Real Madrid see Juanlu as a potential longterm replacement for Dani Carvajal
Real Madrid have reportedly expressed their willingness to pay €30m (PS25.9m) for Spanish defender Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla during the upcoming summer transfer window.
Juanlu, who came through the youth system at Sevilla, has made significant contributions to his team's performance this season. He has featured regularly as a rightback, making 20 appearances in all competitions and providing three assists.
The young Spaniard is seen by Real Madrid as a potential longterm replacement for Dani Carvajal. With Carvajal being the undisputed firstchoice rightback at Real Madrid but with uncertainty surrounding his future due to only having 18 months left on his contract, it seems that Los Blancos are already planning ahead by targeting Juanlu.
Sevilla may be forced into selling Juanlu despite him having a contract until June 2026 if they fail to secure European football next season. This could make them more likely to consider accepting an offer of such size from one of Spain's biggest clubs like Real Madrid.
Overall, it appears that both clubs have reached an understanding regarding the possible transfer of the promising young talent although no official agreement or announcement has been made yet.
