Report: Real Madrid now keen to sign £91,000-a-week player who Man City want as De Bruyne replacement
Source:Manchestercity

Real Madrid are now keen to sign Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich - who Manchester City want as a replacement for Kevin De Bruyne.

That is according to BILD.

So, what is the latest on Jamal Musiala? Let's take a look...

What's the story? Well - according to The Secret Scout - Manchester City would like to sign the Germany international as a long term replacement for De Bruyne.

Now - however - the Citizens look set to face competition from Real Madrid.

BILD believe the Spanish giants are fans of Musiala - and can offer him the chance to play alongside his good friend Jude Bellingham.

The German news outlet interestingly adds that Bayern Munich were supposed to open discussions over a new contract with the 20-year-old.

However, those negotiations never began, with Musiala believed to be privately annoyed at the fact he is not yet one of the first names on the teamsheet under Thomas Tuchel, who tends to rotate.

Jamal Musiala may not want to join Manchester City with Pep Guardiola in charge Musiala's situation at the Allianz Arena has sparked an interesting thought.

As we all know, Guardiola loves to rotate his options on a weekly basis - nobody is safe, not even the likes of Phil Foden or Josko Gvardiol.

However, with Musiala upset under Tuchel due to frequent rotation, we doubt the Stuttgart-born prodigy would want to sign up for a similar situation at the Etihad Stadium.

Therefore, this may not be an issue for Musiala if Manchester City decide to make their move after the Spaniard has departed - after all, De Bruyne should also have a good two or three years left at the highest level anyway before he needs to be replaced.

Be sure to keep an eye on this situation, as anything could happen with the PS91,000-a-week man.
