AS Roma vs. Slavia Praha: Predicted Formations

Roma will be looking to make it four wins from four when they face-off against Slavia Praha on Thursday evening on Matchday 4 of the Europa League group stage.

The two teams meet against this week after Jose Mourinho's men earned a 2-0 victory over the Czech side two weeks ago in the Italian capital thanks to two early first half goals from Edoardo Bove and Romelu Lukaku.

Kick-off is scheduled for 18.45 CET at the Eden Arena in Prague.

Roma Group G leaders Roma enter Thursday's tie with plenty of momentum following Sunday's late game heroics and comeback victory over Lecce in Serie A.

Jose Mourinho's men are in strong form, sporting a record of 8-1-1 in their previous ten games across all competitions. However, they're winless in their three previous visits to Czechia and only won once in their previous five European away fixtures (the sole victory coming earlier this season over Sheriff).

It also remains to be seen how the Special One will approach Thursday's affair. A win would secure his team early qualification to the knockout stage, but a crucial league showdown this weekend against Lazio looms large.

He's expected to rest some of his key players, including Lukaku and Paulo Dybala, to keep them fresh for the Derby della Capitale. Though, he'll be limited with the number of changes he can make due to injuries as Chris Smalling, Lorenzo Pellegrini, and Leonardo Spinazzola, all of whom remain unavailable.

Slavia Praha Slavia Praha will be out for revenge Thursday and hope to rebound from Sunday's domestic defeat against Viktoria Plzen.

The Prague club conceded twice in the second half and went on to lose 2-1, which marked their second defeat in three games across all competitions. Despite the poor from, they come into the game with an impressive European home record, losing only twice in their last 17 matches in Prague.

However, Slavia Praha have struggled against Italian clubs and haven't won any of their previous eight games (D3 L5) against an Italian opponent.
