Birmingham City have been credited with an interest in Sevilla forward Musa Drammeh.

The Blues are not the only club said to be showing a keen interest in the 22-year-old forward after he continued to impress for the La Liga club's 'B' team. Drammeh has scored ten goals and provided three assists in 31 appearances as Sevilla Atletico have claimed promotion into Spanish football's third tier this season.

There were widespread reports suggesting Sunderland were unsuccessful with two offers for the forward during the January transfer window and Football Insider have claimed the Black Cats remain keen admirers as they put together their plans for the summer trading. Barcelona-born Drammeh also has interest from Cardiff City as it looks increasingly likely he will move to England in the not-too-distant future.

After joining Sevilla during the summer of 2022 following a spell with Extremadura, Drammeh now looks set to move on once again as his current contract comes to an end this summer, meaning he will be available on a free transfer should Birmingham, Sunderland or Cardiff opt to make a firm move for his services.

Baggies take Premier League defender on trialWest Bromwich Albion's focus remains firmly on ensuring they claim a place in the Championship play-offs on the final day of the season.

As it stands ahead of Saturday's home game against Preston North End, Carlos Corberan's side occupy the fourth and final play-off place and know a win will keep alive their hopes of returning to the Premier League. Three points coupled with a Norwich City defeat at relegation threatened Birmingham would see the Baggies snatch fifth place - but a defeat could open the door for Hull City to sneak into the top six if they can secure a win at Plymouth Argyle.

However, recruitment plans are ongoing and the Express and Star have reported Everton defender Ed Jones appeared for the Baggies Under-21s in their 4-2 win against their Leeds United counterparts on Monday night. The 19-year-old centre-back has been a regular for the Toffees in Premier League 2 this season - but is likely to be looking for a new club next season as his current contract at Goodison Park comes to an end in June.
