Sunderland, Birmingham City and Cardiff City are all eyeing Sevilla youngster Musa Drammeh, Football Insider has claimed. Sunderland and Birmingham City were both said to be keen on attacker Drammeh in the winter.

Reports said both the Black Cats and the Blues were on the trail of the Sevilla youngster ahead of the January transfer window. The Gambian wasn't on the move though, with it being said in Spain that the Wearside outfit had seen a bid knocked back.

Now, new reports have said both Sunderland and Birmingham City are back on the trail of Drammeh.

Football Insider claims that both sides are keen on the 22-year-old, though they're now joined by fellow Championship side Cardiff City.

Drammeh's deal with Sevilla expires at the end of the season and there has been an interest in extending his contract amid eye-catching displays with their youngsters. However, it is said he sees better chances of first-team football elsewhere and could depart on a free transfer as a result.

Latest Stories Drammeh has played as both a striker and winger, notching 10 goals and three assists in Spain's fourth-tier.

The search for new signings Sunderland have an important summer ahead as they'll be naming a new permanent manager alongside adding to their ranks. Birmingham City meanwhile will have blueprints, but the outcome of their relegation fight will impact their plans.

The Black Cats are in need of new attackers and Drammeh certainly fits their profile.

The club often look to bring in young players with high ceilings, though that has been to their detriment with the lack of a proven goalscorer leaving them far away from the play-off fight.

The Blues meanwhile are well-versed in developing young players, many of whom come from their youth ranks. The chances given to prospects at St. Andrew's could make them a decent destination for Drammeh.

Time will tell what comes of the Gambian talent's situation at Sevilla but if he is to be on the move, it looks as though he'll have a few options on these shores.
