Sevilla lead other clubs in the race for 22-year-old Barcelona forward
Source:Barca News

FC Barcelona under Hansi Flick has been in excellent form so far this season. The German coach has improved the players in the squad and given them roles in which they thrive but there have been a few players who haven't really managed to succeed yet.

For example, Ansu Fati has been trying to recover his best version for some time now. However, a couple of injuries so far this season haven't allowed Hansi Flick to give him a starring role yet and he is yet to get off the mark.

Ansu is 22 and if he has any hopes of becoming the player he once was envisioned to become, he needs to have regular playing time. At Barcelona, he is unlikely to get that considering the form Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have been showing.

As per Fichajes, Sevilla are leading other clubs in the race to sign Fati. Turkish club Fenerbahce are also interested in signing the Spanish attacker. However, the La Liga club might be a good option for the player to continue his career.

Ideally, Barcelona would be looking at sending Fati out on loan. The 22-year-old needs a place where is a guaranteed starter. When he plays, his intelligence is still very much evident but he lacks the confidence in front of goal.

Ferran Torres is set to return soon from injury. Fati is currently out with an injury and if the former can perform well, the 22-year-old would even go down the rungs in the pecking order. It is not a good position to be in for the Spaniard.
