Evan Ndicka is tipped to start in Roma's upcoming Serie A match against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona on Sunday evening, which could be his first full appearance since he was worryingly taken ill against Udinese a fortnight ago.
The Ivory Coast international collapsed on the pitch against Udinese, which led to the game's suspension in the 72nd minute. Ndicka was seen to in the stadium, before being taken to hospital, where further pulmonary and cardiovascular checks were carried out.
He was later discharged and given the all clear to return to competitive sport, and took part in his first full training session on Friday according to recent reports.
According to reports from Sky Sport Italia and Gianluca Di Marzio on Saturday, Ndicka could now start against Napoli in what is another massively important game in Roma's hunt for Champions League football next season.
More Roma team news: Ndicka-Huijsen decision As Diego Llorente is suspended, and with Chris Smalling having picked up another injury against Udinese on Thursday, when the remaining 18 minutes of the originally suspended fixture were played out, Gianluca Mancini is also expected to start at the back.
The remaining centre-back position has reportedly been a toss-up between Ndicka and Dean Huijsen for Daniele De Rossi.
Elsewhere in the Roma line-up, Leandro Paredes is also suspended through yellow cards, so Eduoardo Bove is in line for a start alongside Bryan Cristante and Lorenzo Pellegrini in midfield.
Romelu Lukaku is still training individually, so he is also expected to be absent on Sunday, so either one of Sardar Azmoun or Tammy Abraham could be given a go up top, with Stephan El Shaarawy and Paulo Dybala in behind.
