Aston Villa Women have signed Jill Baijings on a season-long loan from Bayern Munich, the club have announced.

The midfielder has become the Villans' first signing of the summer transfer window and under Robert de Pauw's management.

Baujings joins from Bayern having played for Bayer Leverkusen, Heerenveen and SGS Essen throughout her career.

The 23-year-old has made eight appearances for the Netherlands, bringing plenty of experience to Villa ahead of the new season.
