Leeds United have turned down a bid from Brighton for Georginio Rutter in the region of PS30million this week.
The Whites are back in pre-season this week as Daniel Farke looks to get the side back in the Premier League at the second time of asking.
A large portion of his squad are back in Thorp Arch for initial testing this week, with training due to take place before pre-season fixtures get underway.
LeedsLive's Beren Cross reported on Tuesday evening that Leeds had received a PS30million bid from Brighton for the Frenchman.
The offer in question was turned down in the "last 48 hours" as the 49ers seemingly look to hold onto this prized asset:
Leeds United have rejected a PS30m offer for Georginio Rutter from Brighton in the last 48 hours.
Record signing has four years on his deal. Reported for pre-season today. Brighton also had a look at Crysencio Summerville.#lufc https://t.co/fOjxCiYYyl

Leeds share well-timed social media post amid Rutter news As this was news unfolding, the fans were rightly sent into a worried frenzy that another star player could be sold to the Premier League.
However, as content trickled out of the first day of pre-season, so did a well-timed post from the club about Rutter.
Less than 10 minutes after the rejected bid was revealed, this post was shared of the Frenchman all smiles in Thorp Arch:
Rutter can not be sold by Leeds under any circumstances There is no scenario where selling Rutter makes even a shred of sense for Leeds this summer, for a few reasons.
Firstly, he cost us PS36million, so even with 18 months of amortisation behind us, he's not going to represent a huge profit for PSR to be worth considering like Gray, Summerville or Gnonto are.
Secondly, he was our most creative presence last season in attack, and that brilliance in the final third is impossible to replicate at this level with a signing.
He's simply too good for Farke to consider selling, because he is so often a difference-maker in our performances.
