Whilst collectively, Chelsea have endured another topsy-turvy, trophyless season, Axel Disasi (26) has told Telefoot that he is "pretty satisfied" with his debut campaign at Stamford Bridge.

Disasi netted on his Chelsea debut, against Liverpool, in front of his parents back in August 2023. It has since been a mixed season, both collectively and individually but Disasi has nonetheless remained a mainstay in the Chelsea side under Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentinian clearly trusts the France international, who has made 44 appearances in all competitions in his debut campaign, making him the second-most used player under Pochettino.

It is a season that will end without silverware, however, Disasi has arrived at Stamford Bridge with a clear set of objectives. "I am here to mark my territory, to continue my progression and obviously to impose myself. For a first season, I am pretty satisfied," the former AS Monaco defender told Telefoot.

At club level, it is a season that could yet end with Chelsea qualifying for European competition next season, whilst Disasi will also be looking to earn a recall to Didier Deschamps' France squad for Euro 2024. Having missed out on the France squad in March, he told Telefoot that he is "working hard" to earn his seat on the plane to Germany in June.
