'It is a dream': £20m Chelsea player says he's happy despite not playing in the Premier League

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca is just not able to hand Premier League opportunities to all of his players.

From the bottom to the top of the pitch, Chelsea's squad is stacked with talent. The Blues already had a strong roster before the summer.

However, they added to it, bringing in the likes of Pedro Neto, Jadon Sancho, Tosin Adarabioyo and Filip Jorgensen.

One of Chelsea's recent signings does not look too disheartened about his lack of game time, though.

Maresca gave Sanchez his backing before Chelsea's 6-2 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers in August and has stuck with him since.

As a result, Jorgensen has only got to play in the Blues' cup games. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old remains happy, describing being at Chelsea as a "dream".

Speaking to Chelsea's official website, Jorgensen said: "I have enjoyed it very much, even more than I expected. Everyone has been very welcoming. With the facilities and everyone to help you train hard and get to the highest level, it is a dream for someone like me who loves to train and to develop."

Robert Sanchez deserves his place after Nottingham Forest performance Sanchez made a couple of mistakes in Chelsea's 4-2 win against Brighton & Hove Albion, but he bounced straight back from that with an excellent display in his side's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest just before the international break.

The 26-year-old made an incredible save towards the end of that game, ensuring that Chelsea finished the match with something.

According to Sofascore, Sanchez made eight saves in total that day. For now, then, Jorgensen is going to have to settle for a place on Chelsea's bench.

Maresca's men have games against Panathinaikos in the Conference League and Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup coming up, though, so the PS20m goalkeeper should get an opportunity to shine in those matches.

Sanchez does have the odd mistake in him and has already shown that this season. Jorgensen can put some pressure on him with good displays in Chelsea's upcoming cup games.
