The Premier League returns again this weekend, with Everton's clash with Crystal Palace one that will hardly draw a plethora of neutral viewers.

After all, the two are managed by a couple of the more 'traditional' bosses in the division, with philosophies that are unlikely to be talked about in the same breath as Roberto De Zerbi and Pep Guardiola.

But that should not diminish their importance, with both having made their respective marks on the game.

A top-level manager should never be lambasted for his play style, and as such Sean Dyche is never one to be bogged down by criticism because of the confidence he has in his own ability.

That belief is showcased in every press conference he undertakes, making jokes with reporters and speaking calmly but sternly about matters which he deems important.

Having been linked with a Goodison Park exit earlier in the week, the 52-year-old tactician would attest to the 25-year-old's commitment: 'Yeah he's doing terrifically well for us, he's training very well, he's staying sharp and ready. He looks after himself, super fit fella and he's going along well. He's ready.'

After all, he is still relatively young, and showcased at an even younger age just how impressive he could be within the Premier League.

Should he depart amidst interest, Dyche will want big money. However, should he stay and fight for his place, there is every reason to believe that he, Branthwaite and Tarkowski could form a fine competition for places as the second half of the campaign nears.
