'Could be huge': Journalist has just heard how long Diogo Jota is going to be out injured for
Source:Tbrfootball

Liverpool might have hammered Brentford at the weekend but it came at a cost, with a number of star players picking up injuries.

Curtis Jones went off injured only to be followed by Diogo Jota and then Darwin Nunez was then also taken off at half-time as an apparent preacaution.

There has been no news yet from Jurgen Klopp or Liverpool on the trio.

And in the main, it's not good news for Liverpool ahead of the cup final this weekend.

"I believe Jota is going to be out for two months, which could be huge. Nunez a couple of weeks. Jones maybe a week, that's what I'm led to be the case," King said.

Liverpool take on Luton in midweek before facing Chelsea in the cup final at Wembley this weekend.

As things are looking, it seems they're going to have to draw on all their resources to plug the gaps left by these injury issues.

Jota loss a huge blow for Liverpool Losing Diogo Jota for a few months at this stage of the season is going to feel enormous for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp right now.

Jota has been so good that him being out even just for the odd game is a blow, never mind a few months.

The weekend's result really seems to have come at a heavy cost for Liverpool and you do have to feel for Jurgen Klopp a bit.

It could well decide the title, this. With Nunez also out for a few weeks based off these comments, Liverpool are going to be heavily reliant on Cody Gakpo stepping into the void and producing.
