Liverpool can acquire the services of the 25-year-old Sporting CP ace Marcus Edwards for a fee of PS30 million. According to Pete O'Rourke via Football Insider, Liverpool are looking to reinforce their attack ahead of next season. The Merseyside club have their eyes on Marcus Edwards and could sign him from Sporting CP for PS30 million.

Edwards was a part of the Tottenham Hotspur youth ranks back in the day. While he did come up the ranks at some pace, he could only make one appearance for them before leaving the club in 2019.

Marcus Edwards' time in Portugal He made the move to Portugal and managed to revive himself at Vitoria S.C. His impressive performances resulted in a move to Sporting CP in the winter of 2022. The 25-year-old winger has gone from strength to strength since joining the Portuguese giants. He has featured in over 100 matches and has contributed towards 46 goals.

The English winger has been a constant feature in Ruben Amorim's team this season. He has racked up close to 2,400 minutes and has contributed towards 14 goals (six goals and eight assists). His impressive performances have attracted a lot of interest and Liverpool are one of the clubs keen on his signatures.
