Manchester United Football Club could potentially be changing their manager this summer. Regardless of the FA Cup final result.

Erik ten Hag hasn't covered himself in glory this term, though injuries have certainly played their part. With INEOS and Sir Jim Ratcliffe potentially keen on bringing in their own man, the Dutchman's fate may already be sealed.

Several names have been linked with filling that role, with Gareth Southgate or Thomas Tuchel seeming like the early front runners. Kieran McKenna's name has also been thrown into the ring somewhat recently.

Now, the Manchester Evening News have provided an update on that front, claiming United are among clubs who have 'expressed interest' in the 38-year-old manager. Chelsea and Brighton are also said to be keen on the ex-United coach.

United have already made contact with McKenna' representatives, should the Old Trafford side decide to change manager this summer.

McKenna is in demand after his sheer brilliance with Ipswich Town over the last eighteen months, with Brighton now said to have him as their number one choice following Roberto de Zerbi's departure.

United are said to have yet to make a 'definitive' decision on Ten Hag, who has a contract until next year.

This feels like a gamble. McKenna has worked wonders with Ipswich Town, though this is a different kettle of fish entirely. Is he ready to make that step up? Would he even want to leave Ipswich given the fact he probably believes there is unfinished business? If it was a straight toss-up between Ten Hag and McKenna, I feel like sticking with the Dutchman is the correct move.
