Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford is one of the players who has not been included in Gareth Southgate's provisional squad ahead of Euro 2024 this summer

Marcus Rashford has NOT been included in England's provisional Euro 2024 squad, according to reports.

The Manchester United forward, 26, was a key part of the Three Lions' squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2022 World Cup and has been a regular under Gareth Southgate in recent years.

However, Rashford has endured a difficult season for United - and will now seemingly not be on the plane this summer when England head to Germany.

The Athletic have outlined that Rashford has not made the cut for the squad, which will include over 30 players. The squad is set to be announced in full at 2pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Other big names who are reportedly set to miss out on a place in the squad ahead of this summer's tournament include Jordan Henderson and Raheem Sterling.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag insisted last month that Rashford needed support in the wake of his struggles on the pitch this season and urged fans to stick with him.

"This season, he didn't give the performances and people have been very critical. We have to back him and everyone should back him to get back to the levels of last year.

"I think he needs the support. We all know what he's capable of, we all have to support and push him. He can do better than this year. We saw last year when he was really brilliant."
