Latest Liverpool transfer news and gossip with updates about the futures of Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez at Anfield

Arne Slot's team have won their opening three top-flight fixtures of the season, with the most recent coming in the form of a 3-0 victory against Manchester United last weekend. Liverpool are now second in the table behind leaders Manchester City and will be hoping to continue that form when they return after the break.

Liverpool, along with many other Premier League teams, have several of their players travelling across the globe as they link up with their respective national teams this month. The Reds will hope that all of those players away on international duty will return to Merseyside without any injury or fitness concerns ahead of a busy schedule with Premier League, Champions League and Carabao Cup fixtures ahead.

Mohamed Salah contract 'offers' Clubs from Saudi Arabia are reportedly getting ready to offer Mohamed Salah multi-million pound contracts to leave Liverpool next summer.

Salah's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, and there is continued speculation about whether or not he will sign an extension. According to Caught Offside, Saud Pro League trio Al-Ittihad, Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli are all prepared to try and sign Salah next summer as a free agent if he does not reach an agreement with Liverpool.

The report claims that all three clubs are willing to offer Salah a salary of EUR90 million (PS76 million) over three years. This approximately works out at PS487,000 per week, which would be significantly more than his current salary at Liverpool which has been reported in the past to be worth PS350,000 per week

Owen makes 'nervous' Nunez claim Michael Owen has explained why Darwin Nunez should not be concerned about his lack of starts this season.

Nunez is yet to be handed a start in the first three Premier League matches of the season, having made just two late cameo appearances from the bench so far. Owen believes Nunez may feel "nervous" but believes squad rotation is going to be expected as the season goes on.

"With Arne Slot coming in, he has to choose three players out of five for the offensive positions, so whoever doesn't play will feel depressed," Owen told TVsporten.

"You could say that Darwin Nunez is not in his starting plans, but anything can happen with injuries and suspensions during the season. You need a lot of players and Liverpool will be keen to avoid discontent in the squad, of course, because it has been a good start to the season.

"People can jump to conclusions when new managers come in and suddenly you think you're never going to get game time and I suspect Nunez is at an age where he doesn't want to spend a lot of time on the bench either.

"So I think it's something to keep an eye on. But it's not like Jurgen Klopp played him every week. He was also on the bench a little before this. So I'm sure he's feeling a little nervous, but I don't think he needs to be just yet. He will have to see how the first few months go."
